i bet mid-2013 apple have done away physical keyboards on macbook pros (at least) , replaced solid glass touchscreen surface of ipad. makes sense on lot of levels; increased protection moisture, ability utilize "touchboard" widgets or other apps in more flexible way physical keyboard allows, less mechanical parts break, , more forgot. pair or merge particulars of this patent , you'll never able rest palms on machine ever again

think kind of cool, although i'm anti-change. miss physical keyboard think.

 

when day comes purchase typewriter after last keyboard goes kaput.
