help!
few seconds ago, wd mybook external hd wasn't recognised. sign came saying should eject drives before disconnecting them (although didn't disconnect it). unplug , try plug in , isn't recognised. hard drive powered (i can hear spinning), tried switching firewire cables, tried computer, , isn't recognised
have important stuff on there, need back.
try disk utility in applications / utilities , see if recognized there or if can use repair disk option.
