i've searched issue can find information on battery capacity issues , advice on how correctly charge iphone, nothing on problem...
received iphone 3gs 16gb last tuesday. after registering it, attached laptop unbrick on itunes. allowed enough time achieve 100% battery charge , unplugged , went bed.
next day had network issues connecting aps store decided power phone off & on. i'd been using little during day battery around 52%. powered phone down, left off around 3 minutes, powered in on again.
powered on gave me 'below 20%' battery warning... , 20 seconds later shot 47% , seemed fine. put down quirk, hadn't resolved problem connecting aps store, reset network settings. part of process phone rebooted restore settings. once again, after reboot, gave me 'below 20%' warning , shot 40 odd percent again.
know lot of people iphone asked them if normal (i asked around 10 people) , of them said no never ever happens them, 1 person did has same problem. he's had months , it's happened, he's had no other issues puts it. called apple ask problem , never heard of it, suggested complete 4 full charging cycles flat full before report issue. i've done , still have same problem. when iphone off/on reports lower battery level has, , shoots up.
now, don't plan on turning phone off , on anyhow, i've been doing monitor problem , see if it's still happening. still happening, put if knew minor glitch , didn't impact phone in other way. seeing know @ least 1 other person same problem, figure despite apple say, there must more people out there have or @ least know has had issue. have information on how affect phone long-term, if there's fix (full-cycle charging doesn't fix it!), or rock solid info on being fault?
i'd appreciate thoughts on 'cos i'm pretty clueless!
delete please....
