if want install software on in future , don't know previous owners password?

if wipe clean how done on mac?

else should do?

if you, i'd wipe clean. no reason not , it'd way "clean out" system. it's relatively easy so. person you're buying gave original install discs (usually 2 cds/dvds). pop in first one, follow instructions install it. system reboot , load disc. next, choose utilities menu @ top , select disk utility. locate hdd drive, format "mac os extended (journaled)". close it, should start installing.
