Cloned Macbook hard drive in Macbook Pro

hey all,

first post here. i'm switching macbook (unibody white) macbook pro (2009 gen, 9400m) , had question. can pop 320gb hitachi hard drive macbook pro? it's got of files, etc. on it. i'm recent switcher windows , not sure if system files on hitachi run on pro.

thoughts?

 

provided os date required mbp, shouldn't problem.
