caught @ engadget link. interestingly, source of info has requested original website info remove it, which have.

not since vaio z has 13" notebook had me salivating mule. ok i'll summarise i'm finding exciting rumored:

  • lightest 13" notebook @ <1kg (<2.3lbs) - remember mba 3lbs , adamo xps (while superthin) 3.2lbs. vaio x 1.6lbs though 11"
  • core i3, i5 , i7 options! have mentioned i7-620 not whether m or um (big difference in tdp , clock speed) edit - must i7-620m says "standard voltage cpu" - means 2.66-3.33 ghz clock!!
  • 512gb ssd - fierce
  • 4gb ram
  • "super charged ion battery" - apparently charges 0 90% in prototypes in less 10 minutes!
  • blaze mountain cpu cooling" - no info re new cooling approach news - key entire system, can't wait find out is
  • usb 3.0 - yes please!
  • "long battery life" - no further details

major excitement here me demonstrates plausibility major hardware upgrades on mba - , exact reason why won't buy before seeing apple's mba update biggest weakness system (for me) - no osx.

bring on wwdc!
