Screen Brightness on new 15"s

unfortunately can find test online either don't give values or have standard glossy or high res ag. there no high res glossy anywhere.
when reading anandtech article , notebookcheck you'll notice high res ag quite bit brighter. bright high nit tablet displays have been before , t400 high nits brighter suck in contrast ratios.
else found standard glossy 15" or 17" brightness arround 270-300 cd/m².

did anand got lucky? or matte brighter? or 15" high res brighter?
might reasonable put better brighter leds display matte , more used outside many manufactures make better on better panels give them more wow factor.
can give insight on matter. maybe can compare max brightness older model friend or store.
difference between 300 , 400 should noticeable.
if got 15" high res glossy interesting people decide between standard or ag high res, latter better.

definitely difference

compared screen on old santa rosa macbook pro 15" , 2010 i5 15" hires glossy. noticed that:

1) on max santa rosa screen brighter, never run @ level - ever. can 2010 i5

2) both on par when scaled half brightness.
