wondering, i'm working on new logo friend of my.
in logo balk. (a vector object) want let te text ©koenmovies "erased" of balk... transparent letters should in balk (i hope understand).
know how can done?

create black rectangle. create text. make sure rectangle bigger text.
text path/box selected go type -> create outlines.
put outlined text on top of black rectangle. select both rectangle , text. use subtract shape area function on pathfinder palette , should end black rectangle 'holes' punched out in shape of text -- behind show through.
