the hard drive on macbook shot. i'm not sure happened or why, it's done. hooked external drive, installed os x , running through until new macbook pro arrives. able pull off itunes library files (but not music). it's pointing internal (dead) hard drive. i'm trying edit xml file , i've edited directory it's still pointing localhost (which believe dead internal drive) instead of new one. how find full file path external drive? or going wrong way? when load itunes says "updating itunes library" locks up.
suggestions appreciated. thanks.
