Syncing TV Shows from iPad to iTunes - without losing downloaded shows?

i bought full season of tv show in itunes on ipad, , spent amount of time downloading it. now, went sync itunes, , can't episodes sync.

now, before buying season, didn't check box specifies "sync tv shows" on ipad, didn't realize needed to.

don't want redownload them, or lose them. don't want have repurchase them.

how fix this?

 

if episodes still on ipad, when plug in device itunes, go file>transfer purchases ......

pretty you've download since last time synced ipad transfer on (apps, songs, movies etc...)
