guess if buy component cable http://store.apple.com/us/product/mb128ll/b?mco=mteznjg4mza in 480p or 576p although don't understand would. i'd assume you'd want 576p?? there setting?
own composite cable i've used while ipod touch.

bought composite cable more flexibility. take when travel hotel rooms, homes rent, friends homes etc. more have composite available (1 yellow video , red/white audio) component. although progressive i'd think better.
wish there hdmi version of go 720p out. ideally it'd combination composite cable , hdmi small switch on cable don't have carry both. although of course apple want buy 3.
has used ipad yet? 3g on fri.. , didn't chance try wifi 1 when had it.
