i have hd imovie09 project, can edit directly drive using firewire 800 on upcoming 2.4ghz 13" mbp 4gb of ram ?

well, doesn't matter harddrive use(sorta) when video editing, long can plug computer. now, don't use imovie anymore, final cut pro guy, think when import video imovie, saves somewhere in movies folders, believe. opened imovie, , didn't see option change location.
