i've been messing around bd rips apple tv. 1 thing noticed fps. once i've ripped disk using makemkv, vlc reports fps 23.976, while handbrake reports 23.81. seems bd rips. thought ntsc format 23.976 , pal 24. 1 correct? can't understand why handbrake thinks it's 23.81.
also, once encode done, vlc reports have framerate of 23.98. heck going on?
ntsc dvd = 23.976 or 29.970fps (depending if source film or tv)
pal dvd = 25fps
blu-rays = 23.976fps (blu-ray has no pal or ntsc, blu-rays same regardless of region)
