waited on line @ soho store 40 mins.....had 64gb 3g in hand, , told couldn't purchase because wanted use amex gift card given me buy ipad. apple not take gift card purchase ipad @ all. have useless $1000 amex gift card! know if can @ least buy apple's online store gift card? ridiculous policy. i'm getting american express , ftc involved. 1 way or apple have accept payment. according amex, apple violating it's terms of service amex if picking , choosing product can purchased card. else have similar experience?
if don't, many people on craigslist give cash amex gift card. won't full gc amt close.
