RAM Upgrade: OWC or NuRAM?

i'm looking upgrade shiny new mbp 8 gb of ram , wondering if of have experience "nuram", appears new discount memory brand being sold @ owc (among other places, i'm sure).

8 gb upgrade priced @ $299 owc house brand (which ran flawlessly in old pb g4 5+ years), , $249 nuram. i'll $50 rebate on either set in exchange memory in mpb. 2 brands spec'd same, , both come lifetime warranty, exception owc offers "advance replacement warranty" means less downtime awaiting replacement should go wrong.

i've done bit of research on "newertech", company manufacturing nuram, , seem more or less reputable, specializing in half-decent ipod accessories , such, seem new ram business.

folks think--is paying $50 "peace of mind" worth it, or throwing money away on won't break down anyway?

if owc sells it, can't bad. i've never heard bad products sell , support + warranties enormous well, nuram, has lifetime warranty anyway
