Remap caps lock key to toggle FN key?

i'm looking way remap fn key caps lock key on i7 macbook pro.

never use caps lock, toggle f keys between f1-f12 , apple's functions - volume, keyboard brightness, etc, , means going keyboard prefs in system prefs, time consuming , annoying.

i've tried app called pckeyboardhack, reassigns keycode sent when caps lock key pressed, fn key doesn't seem have keycode, i'm guessing because changes keycode of f keys. used app called full key codes 1.2 try , find it, nothing shows when fn key pressed.

fyi, i'm using few different audio editors, such protools, use f1-f12 keys.

i love well.

have few applications use f keys, , great able toggle fn key functionality off/on.

apple should make keyboard separate function keys. fn key needs die. i'm big fan of keyboard shortcuts, have many fingers use multiple modifier keys.
