could please help? new mac , totally lost. have imac g5 , when start up, blank blue screen. apple shipped me replacement start disk, , told me repair. did disk repair permissions repair. do now? force quit , try restart? if so, still blue screen. need while in menu reboot? in advance!!
if exit disk utility, should able click apple @ top left , reboot there, or maybe it's in file menu. somewhere in top menu there option restart without re-installing.
if permission repair , disk repair don't help, may consider there other hardware being effected.
when start startup chime? apple logo on grey or white screen? pinwheel it's trying start.
have tried startup in safe mode? more info, we'll able better.
