Call of Duty 4: Mod server wiped out my Custom Classes & How to Delete Mod Maps

i couldn't find official call of duty 4 forum, i'll try luck here though might specific issue general gaming section.

after tried connecting mod server first time in multiplayer, 5 of custom classes disappeared. they've been wiped out, requiring me rebuild them on again.

1) there way recover custom classes again?
2) joining mod server or bug?

, 2 questions mods:
3) how delete mod map?
4) mod servers safe load? (ie, in downloading map, can viruses downloaded?)
