hey guys, have aluminium macbook (non-pro) , battery seems dying.
i've had 16 months , battery has 192 cycles , health 78% (it fluctuates bit). health normal amount of cycles , age?
sometimes when running on battery, though says theres plenty of juice left, laptop turn off if battery has been pulled out. doesn't happen time when able turn on, while still on battery, , see boot desktop, die shortly after. if check battery level using indicator on left of macbook (the green dots) it'll show amount of battery remaining.
i've had happen me , wasn't able turn on. plugged in charger, turned on , battery health 0%. after hr or of being plugged health went ~80%.
want take apple store , have them @ it. i'm pretty sure battery dying , dead soon. i'm worried when there battery behave , i'll idiot... do???? still covered under warranty?
generally you're eligible replacement if falls below 80% capacity in 1 year or before 300 cycles, have buy new battery. it's worth asking though- not have lose.
