i lost hd in mbp right after going through airport security last year. suspicious, thought being paranoid: surely mbp's can sleep through airport xray machine.
well, in last month same thing happened 2 other mbp's. perhaps greece has stronger usual x-rays. not did hd's taken out in both machines, lost motherboard in both machines well.
or know, european power. i've felt mild electrical shock running through mbp cases (us machines running in eu). has consistently happened on 4 machines.
guess i'm saying is:
1) consider shutting mbp's down security
2) when working in eu, bring backup hd
3) love of god, buy applecare
so had computers running while went through machine?
heads up. im paranoid going through eos t1i.
