i have late 09 15" mbp , wd 1tb external hd.
i've never had problem until now. start hard drive, loads fine , mac recognizes fine.
try copy - doesn't matter how big - error , @ end says "(error code - 36)". says file cannot read or written.
weird thing can access on hard drive.
have tips before try reformatting hd?
