Question about the battery of the new macbook pros

so may buying friend's 2010 13 inch macbook pro off of him in next couple of days because has run financial trouble.

2 of both had, , still have, original macbook , had run issues our batteries. since we've taken unplugging when 100% , letting die before plugging in kind of care.

tells me new ones have internal batteries , can't "unplugged" macbook pro takes care of never has unplug laptop fear of battery losing 0 point.

true?

i'm asking because want know if issue i'll have deal down road since week or 2 he's had has pretty left plugged in.

apple recommends drain battery @ least 50% every 2-3 days avoid shortening life. use 10-20%, drain once month @ most. not lithium polymer batteries drained, isn't recommended.
