Shuffling within iPod on the iPad

hi,

doing work on ipad earlier put on couple of playlists listen in background. within few songs noticed ignoring order , shuffling them within playlist @ random.

i'm not sure why , can't see setting specify shuffle on or off, @ top of playlists on iphone.

notice or there simple i'm missing ?

when playing album tap on album cover , see "shuffle" control right of progress indicator.
