both new mbp , 4 years old mb (both running snow leopard) steals other computers hostname every time connect network @ work. use both on 5 different networks @ different places , happens on 1 of networks. steal different hostname every time connect.
found out checking terminal, after discovered got disconnected every time there. mac user using network , windows-based network domain attached windows users log into.
"hostname"???? mean ip address? isn't following dhcp rules.
there's no way steal hostname.
