OpenOffice vs. NeoOffice

openoffice vs. neooffice…

i've reached point think it's time wean myself classic applications (and data file formats) use on old powermac g4 (still running 10.3.9).

have both white intel imac , new macbook pro (of course) don't run classic (at least not without lot of haggling sheepshaver, etc.), , g4 6+ years old , can't last forever.

i'm looking @ iwork looks mess compared appleworks, i've used years (i still use old copy of microsoft works running under classic maintain databases go far 1987!). , iwork doesn't contain database module (granted, filemaker pro exists -- usage, it's overkill).

i've downloaded , experimenting both openoffice , neooffice. similar.

wondering if folks might offer own experiences of 1 versus other? compelling reason stick one?

thanks,
- john
