i'm using logmein control remote machine. it's mac mini running 10.4.11 has worked impeccably until now. machine @ home imac running 10.5. use remotely use identical imac , access mac mini via screen sharing on remote imac.
i've managed log imac , access mac mini fine - both via direct 'go server' connection , via screen sharing - no network issues. when try open applications on mini, icon bounce couple of times , stop. happens on them all, including disk utility. if try force quit apple menu, opens skype!!! screwed then.
if open disk utility on imac idea of seeing mac mini enabling me whatever needs done (repair permissions), can't see it. can imac able fix mini it's connected to? hope makes sense...
oh - looks life isn't easy should be. had drive office - 40 miles. reset pram , working. way press 4 keys!!!
