Help with Softbank WiFi - Japan iPad users

i picked 32gb wifi model in yodobashi camera in machida yesterday. signed few forms in japanese, able buy one. language barrier wasn't of problem.

came bonus find came 2 years of free softbank wifi access

seems can use mobilepoint , fon access points (access fon handy when head europe in few months) tried today in cafe, wep key works onto mobilepoint ssid login email address/password combo doesn't seem work.

username , password worked fon access point in same cafe though.

have idea i'm doing wrong?

surely there here has ipad in japan , has read softbank wifi envelope taped every ipad box?
