i called applecare support in both u.s. , japan , both confirmed international warranty.
guy in japan told me (he british) iphone started international warranty 2 weeks ago.
i've got own reference # + case # can go ginza store in japan , fake american name using japanese guy named 'matt" (please aware, guy doesnt know anything)
