i having problems connecting new macbook pro 13" lg hdtv 37" (720p).
previously, connected 2008 macbook pro 15" same 37" lg hdtv (720p) using dvi hdmi cable no problems whatsoever. i've been doing while without issues (watching netflix through boxee, , other content through hulu desktop, using rowmote control iphone, etc.), although had connect audio speakers separately.
when got brand new macbook pro 13", naturally, wanted connect tv. bought mini displayport hdmi adapter, supports audio according other threads on site, , connected tv.
primarily, wanted see if new set support audio through hdmi, unfortunately, not able video signal on tv.
macbook pro recognizes display lg tv 720p resolution, , tv shows mirror of computer s split second before turning black , saying "no signal". spent while experimenting resolution , refresh rate no avail.
why able 2008 macbook pro, not new one?
having similar issues? suggestions?
maybe has adapter or hdmi cable. have 2010 mbp , 26" lg tv , mine works fine. adapter used was
