yesterday browsing web, , froze, , screen displayed strange mosaic pattern on top of else. see screenshot 1.
suspecting plugged in hawking hwug1a usb wlan stick, unplugged , restarted macbook pro (held down power button), , during startup froze again – screenshot 2.
after second restart ok again, seemed mac os x reset something, startup took little longer usual. then, 30 minutes later, same thing happened – froze , needed 2 restarts.
i've stopped using wlan adapter , haven't experienced problem again yet...
know is? in world cause system display such strange patterns? can usb adapter corrupt display driver???
(btw, lcd received shock long time ago, that's reason crack on top right corner , malfunctioning black pixels running around edge of lcd, has nothing mosaic patterns
