i've had annoying problem last few weeks or driving me crazy. gprs , edge data stops working, , have either:
1) switch on 3g, use second, switch gprs/edge.
2) reboot phone
once i've rebooted phone works fine , can data access no problems. after hour or problem comes have reboot again..
gprs symbol there, , under useage phone receiving 0kb in while struggling access. i've tried doing "reset network settings", no luck. reference i'm on vodafone sim-only contract.
ideas?
ok think i've made breakthrough, seems push email related.
noticed while lying in bed, hear mobile interference on radio time, phone sending/receiving data. turned push email off , stopped right away.. , low , behold gprs data freeze-up problem has stopped.
turned push on, , though both of email accounts date, continuously sends / receives data on gprs. on useage screen can see ticking 2-3kb every few seconds. don't it! never had problem until few weeks ago, grrrrr
while solution turn push email off, i'd rather find more satisfying solution!
