Quick way to create this in photoshop...

looking quick way create affect @ top of page found here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/cyclingtheamericas/2010/04/)

bike white outline? simple masking round bike. adding ontop of white layer , masking around that?

don't have photoshop on me easy?

 

if doing that, first i'd cut out background of bike in photoshop, flatten it's on white background. take image onto new layer in new photoshop doc , mask jagged outline area required.

or guess 1 use illustrator creat white shape, paste onto layer in photoshop smart object. then, drop cut out bike onto layer above white shape layer.
