turns out unibody isight camera in i7 17" 640x480 dealbreaker me need hd videoconferencing on go. external camera not option, neither windows laptop.
has had experience working on unibody systems , aluminium systems know whether possible upgrade camera in unibody should be? far can tell, it's usb interface camera don't know how looks inside.

it'll somewhere between insanely hard , impossible. ifixit didn't try , disassemble display in tear down
