iPod touch 4.0 attempt: fail. Help?

so idiot, , tried put 4.0 on ipod touch without being part of developer program.
can't go original software, , screen.
ideas?

hopefully have backed on computer. if so, suggestion putting in dfu mode , see if itunes work it.

step 4: without releasing home button, release power button , keep holding home button 20 seconds.

itunes identify in dfu mode.
