pirates of silicon valley made @ time when apple pretty thought dead or irrelevant while microsoft seemed unstoppable. whole plot revolved around point , can sense it. if try create second version of today, wouldn't same. also, when came out, computers still "not popular" masses niche film favored tech geeks , never connected mainstream people.
in retrospective quite lame movie (from film , technically perspective) due resurgence of apple, woz, , steve...interest in sparked , turned cult movie.
