- osx 10.6.3
- processor 2.8 ghz intel core duo 2
- memory 4 gb 800 mhz ddr2 sdram
have used fc before , acquainted. took brush course , used material provided in book dvd. had no issues while practice editing material.
have material saved want edit with. video saved on external , in mov format. no worries getting in imported in fc. however, every video use starts audio slide , time reaches around halfway, full blown out of sync. not much, it's there.
took these videos , re-saved them in mov format , same thing. ram there should no need shut down, did so. same thing.
interesting part when using test videos supplied on dvd , imported mac, no worries. bringing videos on saved file on mac itself, should make no difference. when bringing on external movies fc, should react without hitch.
here's fun part. of these videos play on imovie. of them. makes me think there's in fc settings @ work here. again, why did not fault before?
1 more thing. upgraded snow leopard , have seen few glitchy items here , there. oddest.
appreciate thoughts , suggestions. frustration setting in. ,
what frame rates of video files? check them against sequence settings. 24p footage brought 23.987 timeline play .1% slower , 48khz audio (which meant 24p) slide out of sync.
