Question about Carbon Copy Cloner - Encrypted Backup Plan

hi everyone,

have mbp15 using full disk encryption (checkpoint fde). mandatory due nature of business.

backup needs encrypted not bootable. if have disaster, put new hard drive in, reload snow leopard, ccc, start restoring (i think)

have external hard drive , used true crypt create container on drive.

first did full full backup true crypt container. want update or @ least make sure new files i've got on there, or modified ones, on backup.

select source entire hard drive again , select incremental? seems easy, easy why asking question.

did , folders same inside true crypt container. watched progress , saw stuff copied over. thought going make new folder called /incremental backup date such , such.

bottom line want 99.99% assurance i'm doing backup thing right way in case time comes, don't have heart attack because messed up.

insight or advice appreciated.

first off, i'm no means expert on carbon copy cloner, , before message had never heard of true crypt. out of way, use carbon copy cloner clone internal hard drive partition on external hard drive. each night "incremental backup of selected items" external hard drives partition. have selected on internal hard drive "items copied". on few occasions i've needed off clone on external hard drive partition it's been there.

may more conclusive answer people on over bombich software forums.
