i've had annoying happen. noticed yesterday 23" acd, use secondary monitor, power light going on , off though monitor appeared working fine.
when put computer sleep monitor stayed on (i see backlight lighting screen though black).
power light stays off, monitor works, can't adjust brightness , power button doesn't work. when go system preferences , displays there no brightness slider available 23".
have tried unplugging it, rebooting computer etc, , booting in backup of leopard (i use snow leopard) doesn't change anything. else had issue? did have power cut other day, don't know how have affected it.
system preferences -> displays -> detect displays -> options -> make sure buttons configured correctly.
