Ambient light sensor is too sensitive

i've been using mum's mpb c2d quite bit, in anticipation of own i5 arriving, , 1 thing gets on nerves ambient light sensor. seems sensitive, point change screen brightness when there has been no real changes in ambient light. if move hand on sensor @ top of screen, or if walks past , casts shadow can change few seconds. also, moving laptop around , sensor changes screen.

setting can turned off, i'd feature if wasn't sensitive. other that, love mbp , can't wait mine! :)

just realised 1 reason why it's particularly annoying @ moment. i'm sitting on chair window behind me, , although it's getting quite dark outside reflection isn't bad on screen, when move laptop (or move head!) sensor 'sees' window screen brightens loads.
