i'm particular sound, , i'm willing spend 150ish (it helps have $50 gift card apple store).
far i've looked blue snowball , yeti- thought snowball cool impressed quality of yeti , if of difference i'd willing shell out 50 bucks or so.
other thing i'd set-up relatively painless- , i'm not quite sure how that'd work microphone big (like yeti or snowball). deal propping macbook on piano (it seemed work fine video) leave big microphone standing there too? need adapters/clips/stands in particular recording sound of grand piano with/without voice or trumpet soloing.
in advance.
well, i'm not sure want record, piano , voice ?
recording both @ same time using 1 mic pretty hard 1 mic. if have room sounds good, put mic in room, closer mouth piano. won't punchy results , you'll need spend time finding out put mic. recording piano alone , recording voice might better idea.
i'd go snowball. yeti seems pretty dedicated voice mic. site doesn't seem go details seem advertise mic interviews , podcast, on top of having 'approved' thx. also, doesn't seem can put yeti on mic stand, might okay podcasting you'd leave on desk placing in way sing in hard want sing standing up.
