i sold macbook pro 2.2ghz (still in possession) , trying photos , stuff off of before restore it. have connected external monitor before success (the computer works minus broken screen) reason can't hook again. know it's due incompetence can't connect help/ tips appreciated.
should have monitor plugged in before turn computer or plug in after it's on?
f7 button button push switch monitor being used?
can't figure out since screen broken.
when connect mac external monitor, nothing happen @ all? should @ least background image on screen. if nothing comes whatsoever, there's wrong.
restart mac. try reconnecting cable computer , monitor. make sure monitor on right input. try different cable or different monitor.
if options fail, else wrong computer.
