hello, new user mac got macbook last may , february hard drive crashed, guys @ local store able find files , move them external hard drive provided them with. replaced hard drive on mac , restored original state. have mac os x version 10.5.8 . external hard drive iomega. problem connected eh mac (2 days ago) unable see of photos in iphoto , when checked package contents there different types of documents nothing looks photo. have mac , running iphoto library , have added new pictures since new hard drive installed. there special mac way move or open these files magically find of wonderful photos, or mean photos lost in crash. did try move picture folder mac eh thing moved photos husband had save finder picture folder directly. first time tried move them said did not recognize iphoto package, time said had folder named iphoto library , did want replace one, , did not since have new photos there not saved anywhere else stopped it.
said new mac, , have read forum after forum , not know enough macs attempt further without suggestion exact problem, , couldn't find anywhere, appreciated, can't stand thought of loosing photos.
