which 3.5" sata drive best choice when want runs silently, has reasonably high performance , reliable?
i'll mounting 4 sata drives in proavio s4uf firewire 800 enclosure.
drives used photographic purposes (digital photo storage, photoshop files etc.) , backing up/archiving these.
i'm opting 1gb drives.
western digital caviar green pretty quiet , reliable. it's fast enough fw800 tops out @ around same speeds fw800
