somone spilt glass of wine on macbook, started spooning out , crashing (after drying externally) disconected magsafe , happy days, worked again. when battery drained, put drying room , tried again mag safe, again, spooned out , crashed. so, took apart, inspected logic board , saw fizzy greenish copper activity next chip adjacent power input plug on reverse side, scraped away @ , tried again, no joy. in despair pulled apart again , under microscope saw small amounts of residue between connections on magsafe 'internal circuitry' links logicboard via pin connector, scraped them away tiny flat head screwdriver , tissue. firing on 8 cylinders!! happy days, aren't macs great. peace out!!
thought might else hence reason posting!
ps switched windows day on old machine , reached happy pills after seeing these, ''windows needs permission'' wank, thank christ we're back..
for future reference, cleaning alcohol , q-tip work me
