drive cloning software?

have new hdd coming, what's software drive cloning? (probably wrong forum this), how go drive cloning on mbp?

 

carboncopycloner , superduper 2 recommended applications.

clone, connect new hdd external hdd via usb or firewire, start 1 of 2 applications , press start or clone after selected target hdd.
