if want upgrade hdd 7200 rpm, void new macbook pro 2010 warranty? yes, no?
think there big difference between 5400 rpm , 7200 rpm drives on new i7 macbooks?
don't know if should have had paid $50 7200 hdd, buying same hdd cost me $95 , and have 2 drives on hand.
it not void warranty, explained in detail on page 37 in user guide macbook pro.

difference 20mb/s in benchmarks , around 15 minutes less battery time. if use mroogle, find hundreds of threads this.
