i've had incipio feather time dropped phone , case sort of fractured. small part above hole headphone jack fractured, 1 volume buttons (it didn't come off, phone doesn't fit now).
anyways, i'm looking new case. need 1 prominent (comes above chrome bezel if drop phone on top case take damage).
additional things i'm looking for:
-nice grip (better naked)
-not silicone. hate material. feels disgusting me.
-not rough. hate when it's hard pull phone out of pocket. not smooth of course, cause need grip (i don't have tendency drop stuff, looking safe)
-nice design
-nor thick or heavy (bulk?)
-mild drop protection
i've considered go incase slider heard has tendency scratch of phone (wouldn't want that).
candyshell speck - heard there no "feedback" whatsoever when pressing volume buttons.
chrome incase slider might i'm not sure chrome finish.
i'm big fan of incipio ngp , similar cases (e.g. solo , solo fx , knockoffs). of them cover bezel , aren't horribly thick, yet feel they'd provide decent amount of protection relatively minor drops. have several of these (both ngp , solo fx , boatload of knockoffs) , haven't noticed deformation or yellowing on time (but don't have clear (colorless) ones, either.) if opt go knockoff, warned not of them created equal--some don't have areas on buttons raised can't raise/lower volume without looking. don't have area on buttons recessed enough on inside of case case pushing on buttons, , don't have cutouts lined (which case solo fx). said, there knockoffs out there made , wouldn't hesitate them again, @ prices can find them on ebay.
if had pick one, i'd go incipio ngp. bored cases (sick of looking @ same 1 time) , rotate through lot have pretty often, 1 come ngp. hope helps!
eta: have couple of candyshells , heard right--there's little no tactile feedback when pressing buttons. they're built brick sh*thouses, can't tell whether or not you've turned phone off half time.
