Windows 7 not compatible???

hi guys,

wondering if out there might able me issue i've run when trying install couple of different games on macbook pro. when trying run setup on both assasins creed 2 , gta iv: episodes liberty city, met following error message -

"the version of file not compatible version of windows you're running. check computer's system information see whether need x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of program, , contact software publisher."

running windows 7 64-bit on macbook pro 2.8ghz 4gb, updated. far can work out both of these games should compatible setup life of me can't figure out issue is. have done fair bit of searching cannot find definitive answer. has else come across this? if so, solution, if any?
