i have mbp 2.16 cd (not c2d). has 7200 rpm hd. considering owc mercury drive, i'm not sure it's worth in older machine.
thing sata limited 1.5 gb, not 3 gb in later models.
there of speed boost?
since it's year out of ac, fun open , have inside.
sata 1.5gb/s has theoretical maximum of 187.5mb/s ~160mb/s in real life. seeing ssds have speeds on 250mb/s, interface limit lot son in opinion, it's not worth unless slower , cheaper ssd
