i have sierra wireless 881u usb aircard use at&t's 5gb/month data plan. works since use on couple laptops have i'm buying ipad want avoid $30/month data , share data plan it. since ipad doesn't have usb means i'll need solution use wi-fi on it.
came across cradlepoint phs-300. it's nice since has internal battery or can plug in , small , plug in aircard make local wi-fi access point can use on go either laptop or ipad.
question: there other options on market? cradlepoint makes others don't have battery. want 1 battery life smallest sizes , have been unable find linksys there other items on market?
also, question. i'm happy at&t's data plan contract shortly. have opinions of verizon or spring or t-mobile? don't know t-mobile , seems verizon's plan similar , sprint's current 3g plan similar. seems once 4g available in area though same price of $59.95/month unlimited data. sounds true , true , service , speed good?

if can sacrifice portability , willing pay higher price, cradlepoint 1200 excellent router. parents have one, , pretty fast when tried out phone. supports 4g
